The Little Black Dress Project !

For this LBD project I had to produce a hat as my final accessory. I was asked to create a hat or fascinator that would be worn with a little black dress. I then decided to make a top hat for a cross dresser. The picture above is my final outcome. To make this top hat i used 3m of stiff card, big buttons, small buttons, ribbon, bows, stripy fabric, feathers, 3m of black suede fabric and some little diamontie twigs. My inspiration was boy george and the 80's because of the colour and the cross dresser style. I really enjoyed this project because I liked being very creative. 

shape and structure project !

For this project I had to make a garment that consists of shape and structure with in it. I also had to make 2 A3 mood boards, an A3 sketchbook , 10 or more fashion illustrations with samples, technical file, evaluation and final garment. This was my final garment.

For this project i also had to produce some pictures that counted as visual recordings in Photoshop .

Mock Final Major Project !

This garment was for my mock final major project last year! it was a real challenging project and consisted of 2 A3 mood boards , 1 A3 sketchbook, 14 fashion designs or more, sampling, evaluation and a final garment which i then presented on an end of year  fashion show in the collage theatre.

Help The Heroes !

This dress is for 'Help the heroes day'. our class made it last year in collage as a little project. We made it out of thick red tissue paper, blue paper, a black band of soft fabric, long white paper, and little poppys made out of  red paper with black fabric in the middle. It was really fun and challenging to make this garment and when it was all done we made a big mood board and put it on display in the main reception.

1940's Project !!!

last week i got given my new brief for the 'make do and mend' project. im sooooooo looking forwards to this project because i love this era. so far i have done my first diary writing in my sketchbook and more than 10 pages on research. for my final garment i am going to make a dress for a tea dance in the 1940's. i have also researched ww2, christian dior, rationing, hebden bridge, women in the war, 1940;s fashion and the idenity card. this week i hope to do all of my fashion illustrations and samples :) well i hope to do so :)!!! my sketchbook is like my diary from the 1940's , and i have called my self elizabeth button and pretended to live in the 1940's. I will upload some pictures tonight of my sketchbook do far :) be for now xxx

wild wednesday :)

Today i have started making my origami boxes for my garment .. at first it looked a little complicated but once i did one or two i soon got the hang of it :) so tonight i have to make up a colograph to print a pattern on to my paper that i will make the boxes with :) x speak soooonies :) !!!

tuesday's troubles...

this morning i woke up once again not knowing what to wear with my new boots :) but after 20 mins hard looking in to my wardrobe of wonders i pulled out the skinniest jeans i could find , with a long vest top and big baggy t-shirt over the top .. then made my way to collage. tonight i think i might get in and start making my origami water bomb boxes for my final garment and samples :) love knowing what to do and where im up to :) good start x speak tomoz byeeeee :) !!
